Project Scope
The project featured extensive groundwork preparation, including the installation of a 40mm open grade tarmac surface and perimeter kerbing. Additional infrastructure included 450m of recycled trek boards and 135m of acoustic timber fencing. Additional sports infrastructure included 52.5m of 1.2m high spectator fencing, 33m of 2.0m high fencing, and 382m of 4.5m high 868 sports fencing to ensure both safety and durability. Floodlights were added, enabling year-round use of the facility, while pitch divider netting and essentials such as goals, flagpoles, signage, and boot cleaners completed the installation of this state-of-the-art pitch.

Superior Artificial Grass Surface
The chosen playing surface is Biplex 52, an advanced two-fibre artificial grass renowned for its exceptional resilience and playability. Biplex 52 combines a durable heavyweight yarn with a wider blade that features a central spine, providing a fuller appearance, improved performance, and a softer feel underfoot. This premium surface ensures a playing experience that meets the highest standards of player safety and performance.
Throughout construction, the pitch underwent rigorous testing by Sports Labs at various stages to guarantee its compliance with FIFA Quality standards. These tests ensure that the pitch not only meets performance expectations but also delivers long-term durability for years of intensive use.
