Artificial Grass Pitch Re-Sticks
When a seam or inlaid line has lifted, this could lead to a user trip hazard. Open or lifted seams / inlaid lines are detected during REVIVE Service visits, on pitch surveys or part of your daily checks.
We clean out the area under the seam and apply new tape (if needed) and sports glue to re-stick the seam/inlaid line. Re-sticks are included on regular REVIVE service visits at no extra cost (up to 10 linear metres per visit if needed).
Artificial Grass Pitch Repairs
When a surface gets worn, damaged or the seams are separating more than 4mm, a patch repair is usually required.
Step 1:
We cut out the area that needs repairing, a larger area can be cut to cover more than one repair.
Step 2:
A patch of new carpet is cut to size to then be fixed into place using specialist tape and glue.
Step 3:
The repaired area is then filled with new specialist infill as required for the specific surface.
Note: Repairs and re-sticks require up to 10 hours to cure fully, during which time the area should NOT be used. We use new carpet for patches, so exact matches in play dynamics, colour, height, and type may vary.
Post Maintenance:
A comprehensive Site Maintenance Report, including photographs, is completed and signed off by our operative and a site representative.
