Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed CAD drawings based on project specifications and designs.
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Inspect and review designs for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Update and maintain project drawings and documentation throughout the design process.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as required.
- Ensuring all drawings for assigned projects are up to date, including external references/latest design.
Requirements
- High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for document preparation, reporting, email communication and project administration.
- 1-3 years experience preparing Auto CAD drawings (preferred).
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in the creation of technical specifications and reports as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A degree or certification in drafting, design, engineering technology, or a related discipline is a plus.
- Must be available to work full-time hours.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Fluency in English.
