Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full construction process on-site, managing teams of installers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Enforce and maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of work, ensuring it meets required specifications and making improvements where necessary.
  • Manage multiple projects from start to finish, including planning, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and professional project execution.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience supervising construction sites, particularly those involving sports surfaces.
  • Strong technical knowledge – familiarity with artificial pitch construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to plan, organise, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with all project stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Proficient in IT systems and tools relevant to site management.
  • Full, clean driver’s licence and flexibility to travel and stay away from home during the working week.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily site-based, with exposure to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Travel required to project sites across the UK.
  • Some physical activity involved, including site inspections and material handling.
