Comprehensive RENOVATE Process for Synthetic Surface Rejuvenation
Our RENOVATE process tackles infill compaction and contamination to rejuvenate synthetic sports surfaces. It begins with the removal of surface debris and vegetation. Then, a double or triple orbital brush is used to de-compact, lift, and regrade the lower-level infill. The infill is then redistributed and groomed, with additional infill added if necessary to support and protect the fibres. This results in enhanced shock absorbency, drainage, and playability.

Restoration for Compacted and Contaminated Infill for Optimal Surface Performance
Introduced to assist older or poorly maintained facilities, RENOVATE is a restorative procedure addressing compaction and contamination of the existing infill. By removing surface debris and vegetation, lifting the fibres, and de-compacting the full depth of rubber infill, the RENOVATE process restores the fibres to an upright position. If necessary, new infill is applied, enhancing shock absorption and playability.
The process includes:
Step: Initial Cleanup: Removal of surface debris and vegetation
Step: Fibre Treatment
Opening up synthetic fibres with a double or triple orbital brush system, which de-compacts, lifts, and regrades the lower-level infill.
Step: Final Grooming
Redistribution and grooming of the infill back into the surface. If needed, new infill is applied to ensure fibres are properly supported and protected. The result is a surface with significantly improved shock absorbency, drainage, and playability.
