Innovative Design and Construction

PST Sport designed the subbase and drainage system to accommodate the new surfacing solution to deliver the most technologically advanced artificial turf pitch. The project also included the installation of perimeter kerbing, 1.2-meter-high spectator fencing, and a 1.5-meter-wide tarmac footpath on three sides of the pitch, along with retaining walls, enhancing safety and accessibility.

Superior Surface Technology

The chosen surface was TriPlex 45 laid over preformed shock pad. TriPlex 45 is engineered for constant play and offers faster drainage compared to natural turf. Its unique design incorporates three different shaped yarns, providing improved resilience, durability, and softness. This state-of-the-art surface meets FIFA Quality Pro standards, offering an ideal balance of performance and longevity. This enables Larkhall Athletic to maximize the field’s usage and extend its benefits to the wider community.
