The New Eyrie: Bedford Town FC Kicks-Off Major Upgrade with State-of-the-Art 3G FIFA Pitch

This week, PST Sport will embark on a major transformation of Bedford Town Football Club’s home grounds with the construction of a state-of-the-art artificial turf pitch at Eyrie Stadium. This exciting development will see the existing grass field replaced with a brand-new 7,800 sq/m FIFA Quality Pro synthetic turf pitch. The upgrade will provide the club with a world-class, full-size playing surface, ensuring superior training and competition facilities are available year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
The extensive overhaul will include the installation of an enhanced drainage system, a stone subbase, and a dynamic stone layer to ensure optimal playability and pitch longevity. The new pitch will have a high-performance Triplex 45 surface, known for its durability and playability. In addition, the project will feature new spectator fencing, and a 2-metre wide tarmac footpath surrounding all four sides of the pitch for improved accessibility.
This comprehensive upgrade marks a significant milestone for Bedford Town FC, elevating the overall experience for players, coaches, and fans alike. The new facilities are expected to foster better training conditions, enhance match-day experiences, and contribute to the development of local football talent.
