Nenagh Ormond RFC Pitching for Perfection

Earlier this week we broke ground at Nenagh Ormond RFC as works commenced on the construction of a world-class 9,000 sq/m artificial grass pitch to replace the existing grass field. The project also comprises the construction of an all-weather surface 50m x 40m to replace their existing grass junior members training area.

Once complete, the new world-class facility will allow the club to gear up to a thrilling future. It will transform the grounds of the club and will help develop players and teams for generations to come.

One of the biggest advantages of converting from a grass field to an artificial turf playing surface is that that all club members will be able to play rugby all year round. No more worrying about muddy fields or weather-related cancellations. Rain or shine, teams will be out there practicing and playing.
